Hole 1

The first hole is a short par 4 uphill towards a small green. There is a hazard running up the right side the hole, and a small bunker blocking the approach from the left side.

Hole 2

Hole 2 is longer par 4, with a wide green. The fairway is wide but leads to a severe drop off down in to a valley before leading back up to the green. Coming up short can cause the ball to roll back to the bottom, so distance on your approach is everything.

Hole 3

The third hole is a short par 5, and a great scoring opportunity. Straight forward and open, the fairway leads to a green with a bunker on the right hand side.

Hole 5

Hole 5 is the lone par 3 on the front 9. It has a skinny green sloping from back to front, with a bunker guarding its right side.

Hole 6

Hole 6 is a straight away par 4, with a steep hill in to a valley. This is about the landing area for most players, causing their second shot to be a blind uphill one to a flat green. The road runs along the right side of this hole, so beware of out of bounds.

Hole 7

Hole 7 is a straight away par 5 with an open landing zone off the tee, and wide fairway leading to the flat green.

Hole 8

Our 8th hole is another short par 4, but with the smallest green on the course. This two tiered green is protected by sand entirely surrounding it.

Hole 9

Hole number 9 is a par 4 leading back towards the club house. Another small green, the hole is protected by mounds of rough and a bunker along the left side.

Hole 10

The first hole of our back 9 is a par 3 with a large green. This green is unique though, with a lot of undulation throughout it.

Hole 11

Hole 11 is one of our shortest holes on the course, but don’t let that fool you. The green is small and protected by a front bunker to guard against players taking aim at the green off the tee.

Hole 12

12 is one of the longer par 4s on the course, most often playing back into the sea breeze. A straight forward tee shot is then turned into a tough approach back towards the water, but guarded by sand and neighboring holes.

Hole 13

The 13th is a strong dog leg left par 4. The tee shots plays over a valley back up hill onto a landing zone in the fair way. The green is guarded by hazard on the left, and bunkers and rough on the right.d neighboring holes.

Hole 14

Hole 14 is also a dog leg left par 4. This hole is unique though, with the two tiered green sitting well below the fairway leading to it. A severe drop off to the green asks for an accurate approach, with distance being everything.

Hole 15

Hole 15 is also one of the shortest par 4s on the course, but again, don’t let it fool you. The green bowls down into the center, causing a tricky approach or short game play. It has a large bunker guarding against taking dead aim at the green from the tee, and hazard behind it as well.

Hole 16

The 16th is a short par 3, with a large green. There are bunkers on either side of this green, with hazard along the left.

Hole 17

Our lone par 5 on the back 9 is what makes up our 17th hole. A slight dog leg to the right, this hole offers another great scoring chance. A wide fairway leads to a large green back up by a spectacular river view.

Hole 18

Our finishing hole is highly regarded as one of the best finishing holes you’ll ever play. A challenging par 3 over a marsh side by side with the water of Bass River, this hole provides the best view you’ll get on a public golf course. The green is severely sloped from back to front, so leaving your ball short of the hole is of the utmost importance here.
